Leslie is originally from the Chicago area but moved to the rural areas of Phoenix in 1969. A lover of baseball, she spent 20 years playing semi-pro softball and travelled the country playing catcher and left field. The outdoor kept calling and eventually led her to the world of equine. Looking for a more natural lifestyle for her horses, she found the breathtaking grass fields of Elgin and Sonoita perfect and purchased acreage in 2014.

After attending college in Pennsylvania, she returned to Arizona with her family to enjoy a slower pace of life and focus on raising her family.

Why Red Tail?
